This Hori-Hori digging tool was originally designed for excavating aged stock high in the mountains of Japan, where enthusiasts still find prized specimens for Bonsai. The black bade is concave, thick and strong for digging and prying in rocky terrain, with semi-sharp, beveled and serrated edges for cutting anchored roots. Provided with a thick natural wood handle for a strong grip.
